the old campus debating society building that hasn't been used for years, phi, is where i make my home today. i need a quiet break from the rest of campus, and it is beautiful with its old brick and peeling paint steps. i feel like i am studying in the shadows of the hundreds of davidson students to have debated and written here before me. it's kinda cool.
as i am the queen of awkward moments, some guy from my humanities class has found my secluded spot as well. its was a shock for the both of us when he showed up. thats okay. its so peaceful and calm here, i really don't mind. i was in such a rock and roll mood earlier, jamming to some old school anberlin. ah, those good ol' days.
"and i know mexico is south of here, beautiful this time of year,
so lets jump the border when the coast is clear."
ah, the outfit. well, i finally found a belt to fit my cowboy-country-something Modcloth dress, and this beautiful weather, ah! i want to break out all my sundresses again! and i know i shouldn't do it, but i love taking photographs in the sun. i like the effect it adds. forget photography rules! imma do what i want! [...or not, whatever...]
i felt i looked too sad. though it seems i post this every time, i'm just trying to keep focusing on simple good thongs to keep me happy. like an awesome dress, this beautiful old hall, sun, and my favorite band blasting through the radio [they always make me feel happy].
