inspiraton?

i think i'm learning just to have fun with fashion. and to find outfits that i love, not because of any specific inspiration, but just because. well, this is a learning project after all.
...
i feel like my posting lately has been a little lame. not necessarily my outfits, but what i'm saying, what i'm typing. it's uninspired. maybe you guys don't really care. i don't know. if you have any advice i would love to hear it! please let me know if you have any opinions.

fashion-ish
my outfit isn't fierce of fabulous today. my apologies.
i did play dress up with my friends though. I helped Eliza, who mixed these sheer pattered tights with boots, cardigan, a-line denim skirt, scarf, and necklace. she wouldn't let me take photos, but i can assure you she looks fabulous.
jordi, her roommate became a doll for halloween, with little bits from me. hopefully i can get some pictures soon. *wink* i enjoy dressing up everyone else, even though i'm not in a mood to look fabulous.
so, instead of an outfit post of my own, i'm posting all the clothes i would get if i had a limitless bank account. sadly, that is not the reality.

[is this dress not adorable?]
urban outfitters

[so cute!]
urban outfitters

[i need a good, bright colored cardigan, red or purple]
urban outfitters

[i really, really want a green cargo jacket, not really sure why]
fred flare

[and grey skinny jean, i think they'd be fun to style]
old navy
[isn't modcloth pulling out the stops recently? all of this stuff is adorable!}

[ i really, really, really want some boots]
so, what about you? is there anything this season you really want?
trick or treat!
last night, all the kids from ada jenkins, and random kids from the community cam and trick or treated in our dorms. my hall finally pulled themselves together and decorated, and everything looks awesome!
[bess looks like a creep]
[perla]
[rebecca and damya, the witches]
[mj lives!]
the great thing is just having a chance to interact with the kids, especially because they don't get that much interaction with their parents at home. i would really, really, really suggest anyone to tutor at any after school program near them, is such a great way to get involved and build relationships with a group of awesome kids. and do awesome things like halloween...

what has love become?
"you don't have to be ashamed
'cause you're a miracle through and through
oh, and you don't have to be ashamed
of the miracle inside of you"

my favorite band, whose lyrics describe my soul, whose tee shirt i wore yesterday, is breaking up. i am so upset. i'm going to miss them.

"and what could be an anchor here
with a storm on the rise?
when you're never meant to see so clear
when smoke gets in your eyes
and the man in the moon
never makes his replies understood"
at least there is one last tour. i can go to that. sigh. sorry for the lyrics and emotion explosion, i just had post on my sorrow. maybe i'll look froward to new projects? i can hope. have you guys ever had one of your favorite bands break up on you? who?
"sleep now moon
i'll watch over her while the sun is up
and you'll have her eyes again soon
it's a glorious day
and my lonely heart is tired again
and i am, starved for her attention"
goodbye copeland. i have loved you well.
lyrics:"love is a fast song", "the day i lost my voice (the suitcase song)", "when paula sparks". images from absolutepunk.com

apples!

i have just been informed that that holiday is actually called thanksgiving. oh. please ignore the girl who was given a keyboard.

so. apples are delicious. i don't blame eve in the least [well...nevermind]. i feel like snow white goes twenty-first century, and i like it. i also lover fall, in case you hadn't figured that out yet. i actually get to do tons of fall-y things, like today, my hall is carving pumpkins, and then decorating in spooky halloween fashion, for the ada kids. you see, the kids i, and many other students, tutor at ada jenkins come from families who can't afford halloween. so, davidson throws it for them! i'm so excited, and have like 600 pieces of candy between my roommate and i. expect a post on it tomorrow, i love my witch's costume.
